Calculated to what extent climate change reduces the number of polar bear cubs

We found a relationship between the reduction in the number of polar bear cubs in Hudson Bay and the loss of sea ice in it.

The predicted reductions in the number of newborn puppies are a significant threat to the population of polar bears in western Hudson Bay, as noted Peter Molnar, Department of Biological Sciences, University of Alberta, Canada.

If climate change continues to advance, as unfortunately seems to happen, the viability of polar bear much of the Arctic will decrease to levels even more worrying than the present.
